The Charism of the Society of Kristu Dasis (Handmaids of Christ) is “Servanthood to Christ”. It is modelled after Christ who humbled himself, taking the form of a slave and was obedient unto death, a death on the Cross (Phil: 2:7-8).

The Kristu Dasi should try to imbibe the sprite of Mary who responded to the Lord,” Behold the Handmaid of the Lord ”. The Sprit of the most high up on Mary and she was led by the Spirit. The members of Kristu Dasi society should let herself be inspired and led by the Spirit of the Lord. Prayer is the expression of the loving relationship with God who called us and made us his own. Our model of prayer life is Jesus who maintained a personal relationship with the Father through Prayer.
