ബിരുദ (ബിബിഎ ഒഴികെ), ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദം, ഗവേഷണ പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ എന്നിവയിലേക്ക് അനുയോജ്യരായ ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികളെ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി ഇന്ത്യൻ മാരിടൈം യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഐഎംയൂ സിഇറ്റി നടത്തുന്നു. പ്രവേശനത്തിന് യോഗ്യത നേടുന്നതിന് അപേക്ഷകർ ഐഎംയൂ സിഇറ്റി യോഗ്യത നേടിയിരിക്കണം.
Exam Highlights :
Eligiblity
BTech (Marine Engineering) and B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering):
- Passed Plus two (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subject with minimum 60% average) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subjects in SSLC and Plus two
- SC/ST candidates will get a relaxation of 5% but it is not applicable to the English marks
BSc (Ship Building and Repair)
- Passed Plus two (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subject with minimum 50% average) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subjects in SSLC and Plus two
- SC/ST candidates will get a relaxation of 5% but it is not applicable to the English marks
BBA (Logistics, Retailing and e-commerce)
- Passed Plus two (60% aggregate in any stream) or equivalent. Obtained 50% aggregate in English subjects in SSLC and Plus two
- SC/ST candidates will get a relaxation of 5% but it is not applicable to the English marks
Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Admission to BTech (Marine Engineering)
- Candidates should have completed three years Diploma in Marine/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 55% from a recognized Institute and 50% marks in English subject in Class 10/Class 12/Diploma examination. Candidates should have completed the Diploma in the stipulated duration of three years
OR
- Candidates should have completed four years Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from a recognized Institute and 50% marks in English subjects in Class 10/Class 12/Diploma examination
Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Admission to BTech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering) For admission to the second year:
- The age of the candidates should be between 18 to 26 years
- Candidates should have completed a Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of ShipBuilding Technology, Goa or Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the AMET University, Chennai or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE.
- Candidates should have completed the Diploma within the stipulated time.
- Candidates will get admission based on marks obtained by them.
For admission to the third year:
- Candidates should have completed BSc (Ship Building & Repair) with a minimum of 60% aggregate.
- Candidates have completed the degree in the stipulated period of three years.
- Candidates will get admission based on the percentage of marks secured by them.
- The age of the candidates should be between 19 to 27 years.
Age Limit:
- Candidates’ age should be between 17 years to 25 Years. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) & Schedule Tribe (ST) category will get relaxation of 5 years.

Marking Scheme
- Each question will contain 4 options. One mark will be given for each correct answer and there will not be any negative marking for any incorrect answer in the examination for all the levels of courses.

How To Apply
- Registration: Candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the registration link. Valid email address and mobile number has to be used for registration purposes
- Filling of Form: Next, the candidates will have to fill the application form with correct personal, academic and communication details. All information should be as per the documents possessed by the candidates
- Uploading of Scanned Documents: The scanned photograph, signature, 10th marksheet, 12th standard certificate and SC/ST/OBC-NCL certificate (if applicable) has to be uploaded as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities
- Fee Payment: The required application fee has to be paid by the candidates in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card).
- Submission of Form: In the final step, the candidates will have to check the details that they have provided and submit the application form
