Introduction:
ടാറ്റ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സോഷ്യൽ സയൻസ് വിവിധ ടിഐഎസ്എസ് കാമ്പസുകളിൽ ബിരുദ പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശനത്തിനായി നടത്തുന്ന ഒരു പ്രവേശന പരീക്ഷയാണ് ടിസ് ബാറ്റ്.
Exam Highlights:
Eligibility
- The student must have passed his/her 12th or an equivalent degree from any recognised board/school.
- The student who is appearing for the intermediate exam or is waiting for the result can also apply for the exam. However, the student will have to show the results at the time of the final selection process.
Age Limit
- 20 years for General and OBC categorised students and 23 years for SC/ST categorised students. The Date of Birth as mentioned in the Secondary Board Education will be only accepted as the proof for age limit by the examination board.

Marking Scheme
- There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers being marked in the TISS BAT exam. Part A contains the questions from Current affairs, Social Awareness and Logical and Analytical Reasoning carrying 60 marks

How to Apply
Step 1
- Apply online on the official website of the Institute
Step 2
- Fill the details: Enter the details correctly. It should match the class X mark sheet. Also, the contact details provided should be active and valid
Step 3
- Scanned passport size photograph and signature should be given as per the specifications made by the Institute.
Step 4
- The fees should be payed else form will be cancelled.
Step 5
- Once the form is filled get the printout of it and preserve safely for future reference
Fees Structure
- General/OBC-1025
- SC/ST/OBC candidates with family income less than Rs, 2.5 lakhs-250 + bank charges
- OBC-NC candidates with income less than Rs. One lakh-250 + bank charges
- Other SC/ST candidates with family income more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs-500
