Introduction

സിംബയോസിസ് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ഡിസൈനിൽ (എസ്ഐഡി) ഓഫർ ചെയ്യുന്ന ബിഡെസ് പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളിൽ പ്രവേശനം വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനായി സിംബയോസിസ് ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി നടത്തുന്ന ഡിസൈൻ അഭിരുചി പരീക്ഷയാണ് സിംബയോസിസ് എൻട്രൻസ് എക്സാം ഫോർ ഡിസൈൻ (സീഡ്). 2019 മുതൽ നാഗ്പൂരിലെ സിംബയോസിസ് സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് പ്ലാനിംഗ്, ആർക്കിടെക്ചർ ആൻഡ് ഡിസൈൻ (എസ്‌എസ്‌പി‌എ‌ഡി) ​​യിൽ ഓഫർ ചെയ്യുന്ന ബി‌ഡി‌എസ് കോഴ്‌സുകളിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനവും സീഡ് പരീക്ഷയിലൂടെയാണ് നടക്കുന്നത് എന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്.

• Candidates must have passed Plus two or Graduation (Diploma) or equivalent from a recognized university/board with a minimum of 50% marks
• 45% for SC/ ST category candidates.

How to Apply

Step 1

• Register for SEED Exam: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria have to visit the official website of the exam. Then, click on 'New User? Register Now' tab. Read all the Terms and Conditions thoroughly and click on the 'I Agree' tab.

Step 2

• Fill the SEED application form: Next, candidates need to fill in their personal, professional, educational, and contact details in their SID Exam 2021 application form. Candidates also need to upload their latest scanned photograph (which is not more than three months old) in the required format and size in their application form for Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design admissions 2021.

Step 3

• Pay the application fee: The application fee for SEED admissions is Rs 750. Candidates can pay the test fee for Symbiosis Entrance Test by Billdesk Gateway only. For this session, the entire registration process is online, no offline mode payments will be acceptable.

Step 4

• Submit SEED Exam application form: Once all the above-mentioned steps are complete, candidates will be sent an email confirmation that contains their application number. Candidates are informed that the SEED Admit Card would be issued to only those candidates who have received this email confirmation. Apart from this, candidates also need to register for admission at specific institutes of Symbiosis International University in which they want to secure admission.

Visualization:

• Understanding and visualization of simple and complex 2D & 3D geometric shapes, their manipulations and spatial relationships through representations in pictorial and geometric forms.

Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities:

• Ability to read and see objects and information beyond obvious details, make connections, make comparisons, form opinions, draw meanings & conclusions. Analyze your observations, express your point of view and present in a systematic and structured manner.

Creative and Problem-Solving abilities:

• Ability to visualize and relate images around us. Ability to identify a problem and attempt to provide solutions.

Application of Basic knowledge of Science and Mathematics:

• Observing applications of basic principles of science and mathematics learned up to standard 10th in the day-to-day activities & objects and finding interesting relevance.

Art, Craft, Culture, Design, and Environment:

• General awareness of Art, Craft, Culture, Design, and Environment in Indian as well as in Global context - Various topics and sub-topics, people, material, tools, techniques, issues & concerns, influences, period, and contemporary trends.
