Exam Highlights

Eligibility

  • All of the candidates should be of Indian nationality
  • Should have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination or should be appearing in 2020.
  • The qualifying examination should have passed from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or The Council for Indian School Certificate
  • Examination (ICSE) or State Board or any other council, institution, college and more recognized by COBSE, New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.
  • Should have qualified a 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and English.
  • Direct admissions will be open for those candidates who have secured more than 90% in the qualifying examination.
  • Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths/Biology/Biotechnology will be considered for Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering and Integrated Biotechnology.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English will be considered for Chemical Engineering and Petroleum.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English or 10+2 (Agriculture) will be considered for Agricultural Engineering.

Marking Scheme

  • 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section.
  • 2 marks will be given for every correct answer in English.
  • There is no negative marking

How to Apply

Step 1 - Registration

  • Firstly, the candidates have to complete the LPUNEST 2021 registration process. Details such as candidates’ name, email ID, country, state, gender and mobile number have to be submitted. Candidates will also be required to generate a password that will be used for future logins. OTP will be sent to the registered email ID which has to be submitted.

Step 2 - Fee Payment

  • In the next step, candidates are required to pay the application fee. The application fee can be paid through online mode i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card.

Step 3 - Filling of Application Form

  • The candidates have to fill the application form of LPUNEST 2021 with valid personal, academic and communication details. All of the information submitted has to be corresponding to the documents possessed by the candidates.

Step 4 - Uploading of Scanned Documents

  • Scanned copies of the candidates’ photograph, birth certificate/Aadhaar card and certificate of qualifying examination also has to be uploaded. Note that the document should be as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step 5 - Submission of Application Form

  • Finally, the candidates have to submit the application form after checking all of the provided details. A print out has to be taken for future use.

Fees Structure

  • Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹1000 (for Boys) and ₹500 (for Girls). Cost of Application form and hard copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹1500 (for Boys) and ₹1000 (for Girls).
