പ്രഗത്ഭമായ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ പഠിക്കാൻ കഴിവുള്ള വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ സഹായിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ഈ പരീക്ഷയുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം. തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് മുംബൈയിലെ NISER ഭുവനേശ്വറിലും UM-DAE CEBS- ലും മറ്റ് നിരവധി ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങളും 5 വർഷത്തെ സംയോജിത MSc പ്രോഗ്രാമിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനവും ലഭിക്കും.

Eligibility

  • Candidates should pass Class 12 in the Science stream from a recognised board in India with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate (55 per cent for SC/PwD category candidates)
  • Candidates should have passed Class 12. Candidates who have appeared for their Class 12 exams in 2022 are also eligible to apply
  • Candidates should have studied a combination of three subjects - Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in Classes 11 and 12
  • Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories should be born on or after August 1, 2002, in order to fulfil the NEST eligibility criteria. Age limit relaxation of five years is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/Divyangjan category.

How to Apply

Step 1

  • Registration:Visit the website of NEST (www.nestexam.in) and register on the website to fill the application form.

Step2

  • Filling up the Application Form:Candidates have to now login to the website with their new login id and password.
    Now fill up the application form by entering the personal details like name, date of birth, gender etc. and communication details like mobile number, address, email id etc.
  • Candidates also have to choose the test center as per their preference.
  • Uploading of Documents and Images:
  • After registering and filling the application form, candidates have to upload their recently clicked scanned Photograph and signature.
  • Candidates also upload their documents according to the specifications prescribed by the authority otherwise the application form will not be accepted.
    The format of the uploaded documents should be JPG/JPEG and with size limit of 100KB.

Step3

  • Payment of Application fee:Next step for candidates is to make application fee payment.Candidates can make their application fee payment by online mode through net banking/debit/credit card.

Step 4

  • Printing the Application form:After all the above steps, the last step is to submit the form and print the application from.
    Candidates must take out several printout copies of the application form for further use in admission process.

Fees Structure

  • The application fee for the male candidates of General and OBC categories is 1,200/–.
  • The application fee for candidates in the SC/ST/Divyangjan categories and for all female candidates is 600/–.
