Introduction :

കിഷോർ വൈജ്ഞാനിക് പ്രോത്സാഹൻ യോജന" (KVPY 2021) അടിസ്ഥാന ശാസ്ത്രം പഠിക്കുകയും ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ഗവേഷണ ജീവിതം നയിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി നടത്തുന്ന പരീക്ഷയാണ് .  ഈ പ്രവേശന പരീക്ഷയിലൂടെ, അപേക്ഷകർക്ക് പ്രീ-പിഎച്ച്ഡി വരെ സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് നൽകുന്നു.

Eligibility

Nationality:

• Candidates must be citizen of India.

For SA Stream:

Qualifying Exam:

• Candidates should have passed their 10th class from a recognized board.

Subjects:

• Applying candidate must have passed 10th level with mandatory subjects of Science & Mathematics

Required Percentage:

• Candidates must have scored minimum of 60% marks 50% for reserved category candidates).

Appearing Candidate:

• Such candidates are also eligible to apply.

For SX Stream:

Qualifying Exam:

Applying candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination.

Subjects

• Candidates should have passed 12th level with Science subjects (PCB / PCM).

Required Percentage:

• Candidates must have scored minimum 60% marks in class 12th (50% for reserved category candidates).

Appearing Candidate:

• Those are appearing or waiting for their 12th level result can also apply.

For SB Stream:

Qualifying Exam:

• Candidates those are in the first year of their UG degree are eligible to apply.

Subjects:

• Candidates having UG degree in Basic Sciences should have science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology leading to B.Sc. /B.S. /B.Stat/B.Math. /Int. MS. /Int. M.Sc.

Required Percentage:

• One should have scored 60% marks (50% for reserved category candidates) in Mathematics & Science in 12th.

How to Apply

Step 1

Registration

• Go to the official site.
• Now, click on “Click here” link.
• Read all instructions & click on login button.
  Now, click on “Click here for registration” link.
• Enter Name, Date of Birth, Presently Studying Class, Stream, Nationality, Specify Citizenship, Email ID, Mobile number for registration.
• Click on the “Register” button.
• On successful registration, candidate will receive the “User ID”and “Password” on the registered Email and Mobile No.
• Note down the User ID & Password for further use.

Step 2

Login & Fill the Application Form

• Enter “User ID” & “Password”.
• Click on the “Login” button.
• Fill other details such as personal details, academic details and exam center preference.
• Upload Scanned photograph, signature and Cast/Disability certificate.
• After filling all the mandatory details, candidates can review all the details before submitting the application form. To review the application form Click on “Preview Application”.
• Click on “Submit” button.
• Note: The maximum size should be less than 150 KB (Photograph) and less than 80 KB (Signature) and Caste certificate size should be 300 KB (JPEG/JPG/PDF).

Step 3

Fee Payment

• Re-login again with “User ID” & “Password” for fee payment.
• Select Payment mode.
• Candidates can submit the fee through Online (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking) or Offline (Challan) mode.
• After completion of fee payment, click on the “Submit” button.
• Candidates will get a message on top of the Application Form as “Your Application is under Scrutiny”.
  Note: The Scrutiny of the application will take at least two working days from the time of successful submission of the application.

Step-4

Check the Application Status

• After two days, candidates have to login again with the same “User ID” & “Password” to check the status of the application.
• The message will be shown on the top of the application which says “Your application is successfully submitted” or “Your Application has been Approved”.
• Take the printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
