Eligibility
- A candidate for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE, or any equivalent qualification from recognized foreign universities or institutions.
i) Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma or its equivalent in any discipline with first class
OR
ii) B.Tech/ 4 Years Degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent
OR - Any professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS with a B.Com/ Degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.
In addition, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent) in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process.

2. Executive Ph.D. programme

Eligibility
- Candidate for the Executive Ph.D. of the Institute should have minimum 5 years of work experience by 31st March of the target year of education.

- Applicants must have a consistently good academic record and demonstrated research potential.
and - Candidates with a Ph.D. Degree or who have submitted their thesis for Ph.D degree may also apply. The thesis must be in appropriate discipline.
and - The age limit for applicants for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship will be a maximum of 40 years (this limit may be relaxed by 5 years for women and reserved category).

4.Emeritus Fellowship in management

Eligibility
- The superannuating professor should be an acknowledged leader (expert) in the field of his/her specialization.
- The superannuating professor actively engaged in teaching and research in the preceding five years.
5.Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management
- The flagship Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi is a two-year, full-time residential Programme.
Eligibility
- Students entering the Programme are selected through a rigorous process, comprising of the Common Admission Test (CAT), one of the most competitive entrance examinations in the country, followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview.
6.MBA-HR
- This programme aims to develop humane and thoughtful, people-specialists for organizational and overall societal wellbeing. It integrates business skills with strong ethical and social concerns. Modern industries are continuously looking for managers who may be able to rise above functional silos and lead with a broader outlook.
7.MBA-Business Analytics
- The program has been designed to impart in-depth knowledge on modelling the business problems and on using the tools and techniques of analytics to make the participants capable of playing a leading role in this evolving field. It is structured to enable the participants to define business and other real-life problems, use analytical tools and techniques to identify patterns, gain insights, develop business strategies and make sound management decisions. The program is expected to provide an overview of various management disciplines and an in-depth understanding of Data Science.
8.Executive MBA (PGEXP)
- Executive MBA (PGEXP) is a comprehensive two-year post-graduate DEGREE PROGRAMME in management. The programme is designed for graduates of any discipline/CAs/CSs/ICWAs/professionals having graduate equivalent educational qualification with a full-time work/professional/entrepreneurial experience of a minimum of 5 years.
9.Fifteen Months Certificate Program in General Management [CPGM]
- CPGM aims to facilitate the non-managerial professionals in learning the concepts, theory and practice of management domain such that they will be in a position to apply the learning in their day-to-day work environment besides accomplishing their personal and organizational goals.
Certification Eligibility
- A participant shall be awarded with the certificate on successful completion of the program which requires a minimum OGPA (Overall Grade Point Average) of 5.
Eligibility
- The basic eligibility for applying for the program are:
- Bachelor's Degree [with a minimum of 3 years full time study]from a recognized university in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
- A minimum of 2 years of full time work experience

11.Executive program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence (EPBABI)
- Executive Programme in Business ANALYTICS & Business INTELLIGENCE (EPBABI) runs as management developement programme in analytics. EPBABI is one-month weekend programme for a duration of 8 days wihtin a period of one-month. The sessions will be conducted in IIM Ranchi. If any participant is not able to attend the session physically in IIM Ranchi, he/she may attend online. There will be 6 hours of sessions on each day.
The programme aims to prepare participants for careers that apply and manage modern data science to solve critical business challenges.
12.Integrated Program in Management (IPM)
Eligibility
- Candidates should have passed the 10th standard/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th standard/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent) with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more marks.
- The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the 10th and the 12th standard would be calculated based on the Board’s regulations. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned Board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the grade sheet will be considered for calculating the passing percentage.
- There will not be any age limit for the applicants.Indian Nationals and PIO/OCI Card Holders are eligible to apply for the program.
