Course Introduction:

ധാർമ്മികത, രാഷ്ട്രീയം, സാമ്പത്തികശാസ്ത്രം, മനുഷ്യാവകാശം, സംസ്കാരം മുതലായവയിലെ അടിസ്ഥാന പ്രശ്നങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് അറിവ് നൽകുക എന്നതാണ് എം‌എ ഫിലോസഫി ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. അങ്ങനെ, മനുഷ്യജീവിതത്തിൻ്റെ മേൽപ്പറഞ്ഞ മാനങ്ങളെ പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അടിസ്ഥാന കാരണങ്ങൾ തിരിച്ചറിയാനും വിശകലനം ചെയ്യാനും അവരെ സഹായിക്കുന്നു. വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വിവിധ തത്ത്വചിന്തകരുടെ തത്ത്വചിന്തകളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സമഗ്രമായ പഠനമാണ് തത്ത്വശാസ്ത്രം. ഇത് നിലവിലെ അവസ്ഥയിലെ ചരിത്രപരമായ തത്ത്വചിന്തകളെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുകയും അവയെക്കുറിച്ച് നിശിതമായ വിമർശനാത്മക ഉൾക്കാഴ്ച നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.മാർക്സിസം, ഭാവന, ഫെമിനിസം, പ്രതീകവൽക്കരണം മുതലായ വിവിധ ദാർശനിക തത്ത്വങ്ങൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ഒരു വലിയ ഗതിയാണിത്. തത്വശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യൽ, ചിട്ടയായ അവതരണം എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ദാർശനിക രീതികളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഒരു പഠനം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ കോഴ്‌സ് മതം, ഗണിതം, പ്രകൃതി ശാസ്ത്രം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, രാഷ്ട്രീയം എന്നിവയുമായി അടുത്ത ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

Course Eligibility:

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized University.
• However, many of the reputed universities prefer a graduation degree with Honors in Philosophy or Philosophy as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized universities/ colleges of the country.
• They should have a minimum of 45-50% marks in graduation.
