Course Introduction:
സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയിലെ വിവിധ മുന്നേറ്റങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഗുണനിലവാരം നിലനിർത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഭക്ഷണത്തിൻ്റെ ഉൽപാദനവും സംരക്ഷണവും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന മൂന്ന് വർഷത്തെ ബിരുദ കോഴ്സാണ് ബി.എസ്സി ഫുഡ് ടെക്നോളജി. ഫുഡ് ടെക്നോളജി വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ ഫുഡ് കെമിസ്ട്രി, മൈക്രോബയോളജി, ഗുണനിലവാര നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൻ്റെ വിവിധ വാണിജ്യ രീതികൾ തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങൾ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഈ മേഖലയിലെ വിവിധങ്ങളായ തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങൾ മൂലം ഭക്ഷ്യ വ്യവസായത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന വ്യത്യസ്ത യന്ത്രങ്ങളും ഉപകരണങ്ങളും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഉള്ള എക്സ്പിരിയൻസ് നേടാൻ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ സഹായിക്കുന്നു. ഈ മെഷീനുകളിൽ പൾവറൈസറുകൾ, എക്സ്ട്രൂഡറുകൾ, പ്രോസസ്സിംഗ് പ്ലാൻ്റുകൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇവ കൂടാതെതന്നെ സംസ്കരണം, പാക്കേജിംഗ്, ലേബലിംഗ്, ഗുണനിലവാര മാനേജുമെൻ്റ്, ഭക്ഷ്യ ഉൽപന്നങ്ങളുടെ വിതരണം എന്നിവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകളും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ശാസ്ത്ര ശാഖയാണ് ഫുഡ് ടെക്നോളജി.
