Introduction
Post Matric Scholarship is an initiative of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. This scholarship is awarded to SC, ST, and OBC category students. This scholarship helps minority community students to pursue their education.
Eligibility Criteria
- Both girls and boys belonging to minority communities can apply for this scholarship.
- Candidates should be of Indian citizenship.
- Class 11, 12, UG, PG, MPhil, Ph.D., or Diploma students are eligible.
- Family income from all sources should not exceed 2 lakhs per annum.
- Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination
Application process
- Visit the official website of NSP Click on 'Ministry of Minority Affairs' which appears under 'State Schemes' on the NSP homepage.
- Read 'Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority Guidelines' carefully.
- Then, click on 'NEW REGISTRATION' appears on the homepage.
- Read all instructions mentioned for registration and click 'CONTINUE'.
- Enter your correct bank details. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number provided during registration.
- Login to NSP by entering OTP to fill out the form.
- This will generate an application ID and password that can be used for future references.
- Fill out the Post Matric Scholarship Application Form along with relevant documents.
- Submit the Post Matric Scholarship Application Form and take a printout for future use.

- Self-attested passport size photograph with signature
- Permanent address proof
- Bank account proof of students
- Aadhaar Card
- Attested copies of mark sheets of previous examinations
- Institutional Verification Form
- Fee receipt of current course year
- Declaration of Income
- Residential Certificate
- Domicile certificate if required
Scholarship rewards
- Plus one,Plus two - 7000pa
- Technical and Vocational courses - 10000pa
- Graduation and Post-Graduation studies - 3000 pa
