Overview
ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് കീഴിലുള്ള ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പിന്റെ പരിധിയിൽ വരുന്ന ഫെഡറൽ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ 54 സർവ്വകലാശാലകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് സൗത്ത് ബീഹാറിലെ സെൻട്രൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ 2014-ലെ സെൻട്രൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റീസ് (ഭേദഗതി) ആക്ട് പ്രകാരം അതിന്റെ പേര് സൗത്ത് ബീഹാർ സെൻട്രൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി (സിയുഎസ്ബി) എന്നാക്കി മാറ്റി. ബിഹാർ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനമാണിത്. വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ വ്യക്തിത്വത്തെ സമഗ്രമായ രീതിയിൽ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും അവരെ ശോഭനമായ ഭാവിക്കായി ഒരുക്കുന്നതിനുമായി മൾട്ടി ഡിസിപ്ലിനറി സമീപനം, നൂതന പെഡഗോഗികൾ, വാഗ്ദാനമായ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ, ഫലപ്രദമായ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി പിന്തുണാ സംവിധാനം എന്നിവയുള്ള അനുകൂലവും ഗവേഷണ കേന്ദ്രീകൃതവുമായ അന്തരീക്ഷം സിയുഎസ്ബി-യുടെ മറ്റ് ചില പ്രേത്യകതകളാണ്.

- The M.P.Ed. Program is a two-year (four semesters) professional degree program for advanced study in the field of Physical Education which aims at preparing physical education teachers/coaches, educators, and other educational professionals including policy analysts, planners, experts, etc. The program offers a comprehensive overview of 'Physical Education embedded in the foundational disciplines of Sports Training, Physiology, and Psychology; and, a detailed study of chosen specialized areas of interest.
