Course Introduction:

ബിഎ മീഡിയ സ്റ്റഡീസ് കരിയർ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി ചിന്തിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ മീഡിയ സ്റ്റഡീസിൽ ബിരുദം ഇപ്പോൾ വളരെയധികം പ്രശസ്തി നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ കോഴ്‌സിൽ അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി ആശയവിനിമയം, വിമർശനാത്മക പഠനങ്ങൾ, വിപണനം എന്നി മൂന്ന് പ്രധാന ഭാഗങ്ങൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. ഈ മൂന്ന് മേഖലകളിലൊന്നിൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവയിൽ മൂന്നെണ്ണത്തിലും താൽപ്പര്യം വളർത്താനും ഈ കോഴ്സ് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. പുരാതന കാലം മുതലുള്ള മാധ്യമങ്ങളുടെ പരിണാമം പരിശോധിക്കാൻ വിമർശനാത്മക പഠനങ്ങളിലൂടെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിയെ സഹായിക്കുന്നു. ആശയവിനിമയവും വിപണനവും പ്രധാനമായും മാധ്യമ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയുടെ വിപുലീകരണ ആശയത്തെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
