Admission process
- Full-Time Research program offered in regular mode. Admission to the Ph.D. program will be through the Entrance test conducted by the CUTN or CUCET against each specific notification for admission. However, valid UGC JRF/ Fellowship holders may apply to the Department at any time for consideration of admission.

The Doctoral research program in Education comprises coursework and advanced research in Education. - The duration of the program is two years and the courses are carefully designed to attain both scientific and technical aspects that enable them to grow into competent, seasoned professionals. The course curriculum is designed both at basic and advanced levels. There are 14 core and practical courses spread across 4 semesters. Students in the fourth semester are given the opportunity to undertake a research-oriented project in their concerned field of specialization or interest. Apart from these core and practical courses, students are also required to take up electives. This program provides elective subjects which are relevant with updated and new areas in various branches of Geography to meet the needs of all students.

Department of Epidemiology and Public Health

M.Sc. Program
- The M.Sc. The program is offered as an 85-credit-hour degree program. All students complete five core courses in epidemiology, public health diplomacy, global health policy, disease modeling, environmental health, social and behavioral sciences, public health administration, and biostatistics. Hours are devoted to required labs in epidemiology & data management and electives. The internship is done at the end of the first year, for 2 months followed by the project work at the end semester.
