Course Introduction:
വ്യാവസായിക എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിന്റെ ഒരു ഉപവിഭാഗമാണ് ടൂൾ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ്, പരിമിതമായ സമയത്തിനുള്ളിൽ പരിമിതമായ മൂലധനം, തൊഴിൽ, മെറ്റീരിയലുകൾ എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഉൽ‌പന്നങ്ങൾ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകള്‍ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഡൈ-കാസ്റ്റ് ഡിസൈനുകൾ, ഫർണിച്ചറുകൾ, ജിഗ്സ് രൂപകൽപ്പന, പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് അച്ചുകൾ, മെട്രോളജി, അളവുകൾ എന്നിവയിൽ വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യം നേടുന്നതും ഈ കോഴ്സില്‍ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ടൂൾ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൻ്റെ വ്യാപ്തി ഇന്ത്യയിലും ലോകത്തിൻ്റെ മറ്റു ഭാഗങ്ങളിലും വിശാലമാണ്. ഓട്ടോമോട്ടീവ്, ലാപ്‌ടോപ്പ്, മൊബൈൽ, തുടങ്ങിയ എല്ലാ നിർമ്മാണ കമ്പനികളും ടൂൾ ഡിസൈൻ എഞ്ചിനീയർമാരെ നിയമിക്കുന്നു.
