Course Introduction:
എം.എസ്.സി. മലിനീകരണ നിയന്ത്രണം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മലിനീകരണ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് സയൻസ് ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര എൻവയോൺമെന്റൽ സയൻസ് കോഴ്സാണ്. പരിസ്ഥിതി മാനേജ്മെന്റിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന പദമാണ് മലിനീകരണ നിയന്ത്രണം. വായുവിലേക്കോ വെള്ളത്തിലേക്കോ മണ്ണിലേക്കോ ഉള്ള പുറന്തള്ളലിന്റെയും മാലിന്യങ്ങളുടെയും നിയന്ത്രണം എന്നാണ് ഇതിനർത്ഥം. മലിനീകരണ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ മിക്കവാറും രണ്ട് അധ്യയന വർഷങ്ങളാണുള്ളത്, എന്നാൽ ഇത് ഓരോ സ്ഥാപനത്തിനും വ്യത്യസ്തമാണ്. ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ഇക്കോളജി ആൻഡ് എൻവയോൺമെന്റ് രണ്ട് വർഷത്തിനുള്ളിൽ മുഴുവൻ സമയ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ നൽകുന്നു. കോഴ്‌സ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കാനുള്ള ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ സമയവും രണ്ട് വർഷമാണ്.
