Course Introduction:
ഫുഡ് സയന്സിന്റെ ഒരു ബ്രാഞ്ച് ആണ് ഫുഡ് പ്രൊസസിങ്ങ് ടെക്നോളജി. വിവിധങ്ങളായ രീതികളിലൂടെ അസംസ്കൃത ചേരുവകളെ ഭക്ഷണ വസ്തുക്കളായി മാറ്റുന്നതിനെ ആണ് ഫുഡ് പ്രൊസസിങ്ങ് എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്. B.Sc കഴിഞ്ഞ വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികള്ക്ക് M.Sc ഫുഡ് പ്രോസസിങ്ങ് ടെക്നോളജി കോഴ്സിന് അപ്ലൈ ചെയ്യാം. എന്ട്രന്സ് എക്സാം അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലോ മാര്ക്ക് അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലോ ആണ് അഡ്മിഷന് പ്രോസസ് നടക്കുന്നത്.
Course Eligibility:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with minimum 50% marks or its Equivalent One.

- They should have a sense of responsibility, the ability to work well on their own as well as a part of a team, effective communication skills and a discerning approach to food items.
- Candidates should have an interest in science, a tendency towards cleanliness, commitment; enthusiasm and motivation.
- They should have a scientific bent of mind, power of observation & concentration, interest in scientific and technological development and an interest in health and nutrition.
- They should be able to operate a powerful machine used for milling such as knowledge of the speed of operation, feeding of input, and collecting output.
Soft Skills:
- Knowledge of a range of sciences and their applications to food.
- Good business, IT, analytical and numerical abilities.
- The ability to work independently.
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with regard to health, safety and hygiene.
- Good communication skills.
