Overview

ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്‌റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ഫോറിൻ ട്രേഡ് (ഐഐഎഫ്റ്റി) 1963-ൽ വാണിജ്യ, വ്യവസായ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് കീഴിലുള്ള ഒരു സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനമായി സ്ഥാപിതമായി. അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ബിസിനസ്സിലും വ്യാപാരത്തിലും ഗവേഷണത്തിലൂടെയും പരിശീലനത്തിലൂടെയും അറിവ് പകർന്നുനൽകുന്നതിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു അതുല്യമായ സ്ഥാപനമായി വിജയകരമായി വികസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. 2002-ൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂട്ടിന് "ഡീംഡ് ടു യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി" പദവി ലഭിച്ചു. നാഷണൽ അസസ്‌മെന്റ് ആൻഡ് അക്രഡിറ്റേഷൻ കൗൺസിൽ (NAAC) 2005-ലും 2015-ലും ഐഐഎഫ്റ്റി-യെ ഗ്രേഡ് 'A' സ്ഥാപനമായി അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വർഷങ്ങളായി, ഐഐഎഫ്റ്റി ദേശീയമായി ഉയർന്നു. ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ബിസിനസ് മാനേജ്‌മെന്റ്, സ്ട്രാറ്റജി എന്നിവയിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുന്ന സർവകലാശാല, ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിന്റെ മൂന്ന് പ്രധാന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളായ ഗവേഷണം, പരിശീലനം, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം എന്നിവയിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്നു. 

 Programmes Offered

1.MBA (International Business) - Full Time

Eligibility

• Recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years' duration in any disciplines with minimum 50% marks [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories]
• Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by beginning of October of the year of start of the course.

2.MBA (International Business)– Weekends

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University or Institution with minimum 55% marks.
• A minimum managerial experience (including self-employed) of not less than Three Years as on 31st July 2021. (Only the work experience after eligibility qualifications will be considered).
• ‘No Objection Certificate’ from employer is required at the time of Admission.

3.Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (EPGDIB)-(Weekend)

Eligibility

• Graduation or its equivalent degree from any recognized University or Institution and managerial work experience of minimum FIVE years.

OR

• Post-Graduate Degree/ Engineering Degree or its equivalent from any recognized University or Institution and managerial work experience of minimum THREE years.
• Minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks or equivalent CGPA in Graduation.
• Only managerial work experience until 31st March 2022 will be considered. 
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer is required at the time of admission only for sponsored candidates. 
• Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC (noncreamy layer)/PWD/EWS candidates as per Government of India rules.

4.MA (Economics)

• IIFT has launched its first-ever MA (Economics) Programme with Specialisation in Trade and Finance in both Delhi and Kolkata Campuses.

5.Certificate Programme in Export Import Management

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized Indian or Foreign University OR Diploma holders with two years of post-diploma full time work experience.

6.Ph.D Programs

Eligibility

• Master’s degree/M.Phil. degree in any discipline (including IIFT MPIB) from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or CGPA equivalent to B Plus in aggregate.

OR

• Diploma courses which are considered equivalent to Master’s Degree (e.g., PGDIM from IIMs) with 55% marks or CGPA equivalent to B Plus, recognized by AICTE/UGC would be considered. In such cases candidates would be required to produce the necessary certificate(s) from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
• A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50% may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ and differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the University Grants Commission (UGC) from time to time.
• In case of Part Time Programme: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience is required for the candidate from industry and one year experience is required for the candidate from teaching.
• Candidates who are in the final year of the Master’s degree are also eligible to apply. However, if selected, their admission will be on provisional basis. Admission of such candidates who joins the Ph.D. Programme on provisional basis but fails to obtain minimum percentage in the Master’s degree examination (as defined in (a) above) is liable to be cancelled forthwith. Such candidates should immediately inform the Institution on declaration of her / his results. Admission of candidates who do not inform the Institute of such situation will automatically stand cancelled on 8th October 2021. No request for extension of time for re-evaluation, etc. will be entertained.
