ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ ടെക്‌നോളജി  കല്യാൺ ,ഐടിയിൽ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച മാനവവിഭവശേഷി ഉൽപ്പാദിപ്പിക്കുക, വിവിധ ഡൊമെയ്‌നുകളിൽ ഐടിയുടെ ബഹുമുഖങ്ങൾ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തുക എന്നീ ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ്  സ്ഥാപിച്ചത് . ഐഐഐടി കല്യാണി ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന നിലവാരമുള്ള വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും ഗവേഷണ സൗകര്യങ്ങളുമുള്ള ഒരു ലോകോത്തര അക്കാദമിക് സ്ഥാപനമായി മാറാനും വ്യവസായ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ നിറവേറ്റുന്നതിനായി വ്യവസായത്തിന് തയ്യാറായ ഐടി ബിരുദധാരികളെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനും ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ബൗദ്ധിക മൂലധനം പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തി പുതിയ ഉൽപന്നങ്ങളും പരിഹാരങ്ങളും  സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുന്നുവെന്ന് ഉറപ്പാക്കാൻ ഒരു നൂതന സംരംഭക കേന്ദ്രീകൃത രീതിയെ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഒരു ഉത്തേജകമായി ഈ സ്ഥാപനം  പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു .2017 മാർച്ച് മുതൽ ഈ സ്ഥാപനത്തിന് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് നാഷണൽ ഇംപോർട്ടൻസ് (ഐഎൻഐ) പദവി ലഭിച്ചു.

Computer Science and Engineering

Eligibility

  • Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate

Entrance examination 

  • JEE Main

Electronics and Communication Engineering 

2.P.G Programmes

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science 

Eligibility

  • The candidate should have scored at least 60% aggregate in the degree examination. Thecandidates from industry, after acquiring the qualifying degree may join the course, subject tothe approval of the parent organization.
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for admission in the programme.

Advanced Communication Systems and Signal Processing

3.Ph.D.

Engineering

  • Master’s in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60% aggregate
    OR
    Bachelor’s in Engineering/ Technology or Master’s degree in Science with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 or 70% aggregate. The candidate should be GATE/ NET qualified

Science

  • Master's in Science/ Engineering/ Technology with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60% aggregate and GATE/ NET score
    OR
    Bachelor’s in Engineering/ Technology or Master’s in Science with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 or 70% aggregate along with GATE/NET score

Humanities and Social Sciences

  • Master’s in Arts/ Commerce/ Science with 55% aggregate
    OR
  • Master’s in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% aggregate
