Course Introduction:

കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ്, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് മേഖലകളെ സമന്വയിപ്പിക്കുന്ന നാലുവർഷത്തെ അക്കാദമിക് പ്രോഗ്രാമാണ് ബിടെക് ഇൻ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് (സി‌എസ്‌ഇ). പ്രോഗ്രാം പ്രാഥമികമായി കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ പ്രോഗ്രാമിംഗിന്റെയും നെറ്റ്‌വർക്കിംഗിന്റെയും അടിസ്ഥാനകാര്യങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകുന്നു, അതേസമയം  കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ബിടെക്കിന്റെ പരിധിയിൽ വരുന്ന എല്ലാ വിഷയങ്ങളും അൽഗോരിതം, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടേഷൻ, പ്രോഗ്രാമിംഗ് ഭാഷകൾ, പ്രോഗ്രാം ഡിസൈൻ, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ ഹാർഡ്‌വെയർ, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ  തുടങ്ങിയവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടതാണ്.കോഴ്‌സ് പൂർത്തിയായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ് എഞ്ചിനീയർമാർ വ്യക്തിഗത മൈക്രോപ്രൊസസ്സറുകൾ, സൂപ്പർ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറുകൾ, പേഴ്സണൽ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറുകൾ എന്നിവയുടെ രൂപകൽപ്പന മുതൽ സർക്യൂട്ട് രൂപകൽപ്പന സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ ഡെവെലപിങ് എന്നീ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു   എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിലെ ബിടെക് വഴി, വിവിധ പ്രോഗ്രാമിംഗ് ഭാഷകൾ, നെറ്റ്‌വർക്കിംഗ്, ടെലികമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻ, ഡിജിറ്റൽ, അനലോഗ് ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ് മുതലായവ മനസിലാക്കാനും പഠിക്കാനും ഉപയോഗിക്കാനും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിന്റെ ഉപയോഗം ദൈനംദിന ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരു ആവശ്യമായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു, അതിനാൽ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോഴ്‌സ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കിടയിൽ അതിൻറെ ജനപ്രീതി തുടരുന്നു.
