Overview
ശ്രീ ലാൽ ബഹദൂർ ശാസ്ത്രി നാഷണൽ സംസ്‌കൃത സർവകലാശാല, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു കേന്ദ്ര സർവ്വകലാശാലയാണ്.ഇത് 1962 ഒക്ടോബർ 8-ന് സ്ഥാപിതമാവുകയും 1987 നവംബറിൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഗ്രാന്റ്സ് കമ്മീഷൻ വിദ്യാപീഠത്തിന് ഒരു ഡീംഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി പദവി നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു.2020 മാർച്ചിൽ, ഇന്ത്യൻ പാർലമെന്റ് കേന്ദ്ര സംസ്‌കൃത സർവ്വകലാശാലാ നിയമം, 2020 പാസാക്കി സ്ഥാപനത്തെ കേന്ദ്ര സർവ്വകലാശാല പദവിയിലേക്ക് ഉയർത്തി .

U.G programs
1. Shastri (B.A.) (Three years)
Eligibility
- Courses Eligibility Criteria Shastri (B.A.) (Three years) (Six Semesters)
- Intermediate or equivalent examination with Sanskrit / Uttar Madhyama / Prak Shastri Exam conducted by the State Board / recognized institutions.
- Passing the Entrance Test conducted by the University.
2. B.A. (Yoga) (Three years) (Six Semesters)
3. Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed. (Two Years) (Four Semesters)
Eligibility
- At least 50% marks or equivalent grade either in Shastri / B.A. with Sanskrit and/or Acharya / M.A. (Sanskrit)
- Those who are appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply.
- Minimum age 20 yrs.
- Passing the All India Combined Entrance Test followed by an Interview
P.G programs
1. Acharya (M.A.) (Two years) (Four Semesters)
Eligibility
- Passed 3 years degree course of Shastri / B.A. with Sanskrit or equivalent examination from a recognized University.
- Passing the Entrance Test conducted by the University
2. M.A.(Yoga) (Two years)
Eligibility
- At least 50% marks or equivalent grade either in Shiksha Shastri / B.Ed. (with Sanskrit Teaching), Shastri / B.A. (with Sanskrit) and/or Acharya/ M.A. (Sanskrit).
- Those who are appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply.
- Minimum age 22 yrs.
- Passing the All India Combined Entrance Test followed by an interview
3. Shiksha Acharya/M.Ed.
Ph.D. Programs
1. Vidyavaridhi(Ph. D.)
Eligibility
- A Master's degree with at least 55% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point-scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country, or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
- Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. Course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph.D. Degree in the same Institution in an integrated program. A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
- The duration of the Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.) program is a minimum of 3(three) years and a maximum of 6(six) years.
- Passing the All India Combined Entrance Test followed by an interview
- As per UGC regulation 2016, a Professor at any given point of time cannot guide more than 8(Eight) research students, an Associate Professor 6(six) and Assistant Professor 4(four).
