Course Introduction:
എം.എസ്സി. ഫോട്ടോണിക്സ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഫോട്ടോണിക്സിൽ മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് സയൻസ് ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര ഫോട്ടോണിക്സ് കോഴ്സാണ്. ഇരുപത്തിയൊന്നാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ശാസ്ത്ര സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയിൽ വലിയ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തുന്ന ശാസ്ത്രശാഖകളിലൊന്നാണ് ഫോട്ടോണിക്സ്. പ്രകാശത്തിന്റെ സവിശേഷതകളെയും വസ്തുക്കളുമായുള്ള ഇടപെടലിനെയും പഠിക്കുകയും പ്രയോഗിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ശാസ്ത്രീയവും സാങ്കേതികവുമായ ഒരു ശിക്ഷണമായി ഫോട്ടോണിക്സിനെ നിർവചിക്കാം. പ്രകൃതിയിലെ പുതിയ പ്രതിഭാസങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിലും പുതിയ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യകളുടെ വികാസത്തിലും ഫോട്ടോണിക്സ് ഒരു പ്രധാന പങ്ക് വഹിക്കുന്നു.
