1. Maritime Management
- Indian Maritime University offers two M.B.A. Programmes; M.B.A. in Port and Shipping Management and M.B.A. in International Transportation and Logistics Management. The duration of the MBA program is two academic years consisting of four semesters. Each academic year shall be divided into two semesters.

- M.B.A. in Port and Shipping Management is designed to provide the students with adequate skills and knowledge in functional areas of the port and shipping sectors. It also gives a holistic view of the sector integrating various areas viz. port management, maritime law, and maritime economics which helps them to gain a thorough understanding of the maritime business and take up employment in the same.
M.B.A. International Transportation & Logistics Management
- M.B.A. in International Transportation and Logistics Management is a program designed to provide exposure to 'Management of the domestic and international modes of Transportation' in today’s rapidly changing economic scenario. Logistics management assumes a systematic approach to deal with a wide variety of activities related to the movement of traffic from origin to destination point.

2. Marine Engineering & Technology
- The Marine Engineer was born the day the French inventor Deni’s Papin constructed a steamboat powered by his steam engine in 1704. Since then, from steam to diesel engines and computer-controlled machinery, the role of a Marine Engineer is constantly changing with new challenges being regularly thrown up.

- This is the basic engineering degree program orienting the students for the design and construction of marine crafts and structures.
B.Tech in Dredging and Harbour Engineering
- The program in Dredging and Harbour Engineering is aimed at graduate engineers who wish to make a career in the area of Dredging, Port and Harbour Engineering, and allied industries. There is, at present, tremendous growth in the Indian infrastructure industry in the port sector. An adequate number of qualified engineers are not available to take up this challenge.
