ബഹുരാഷ്ട്ര നിയമപ്രശ്‌നങ്ങൾ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാൻ മാത്രമല്ല, ഇന്ത്യയെ ലോകത്തെ ഊർജ്ജസ്വലവും ശക്തവുമായ സാമ്പത്തിക ശക്തിയാക്കുന്നതിന് വിവേകപൂർണ്ണവും ലാഭകരവുമായ ദേശീയ നിലപാട് സ്വീകരിച്ച് രാജ്യത്തെ സമ്പന്നമാക്കാനും വലിയ നിയമ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും പ്രൊഫഷണലുകളും കൺസൾട്ടന്റുമാരും ആവശ്യമാണ്. നിയമസഭാ സാമാജികർ, ഭരണാധികാരികൾ, വ്യവസായ പ്രമുഖർ എന്നിവർക്ക് ഇന്ന് മുഖത്ത് ഉറ്റുനോക്കുന്ന വെല്ലുവിളികളും അവസരങ്ങളും ഏറ്റെടുക്കാൻ ശക്തമായ നിയമ പശ്ചാത്തലം ആവശ്യമാണ്. മധ്യപ്രദേശ് നിയമസഭയുടെ 1997-ലെ നിയമം നമ്പർ 41 പ്രകാരം നാഷണൽ ലോ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി (NLIU) സ്ഥാപിതമായത് ഈ വിടവ് നികത്തുന്നതിനും തൊഴിലിന് ആവശ്യമായ പുതിയ വൈദഗ്ധ്യങ്ങളുടെ മൾട്ടി ഡിസിപ്ലിനറി അധ്യാപനത്തിലൂടെയും പരിശീലനത്തിലൂടെയും ഏറ്റവും ആധുനിക നിയമ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നൽകുന്നതിനും വേണ്ടിയാണ്.

Programmes Offered

1.B.A LL.B (Horns)

  • Duration of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course shall be five Academic Session. Each Academic Session is divided into two semesters in accordance with the rules and regulations of UGC and BCI. In addition to courses prescribed by BCI, courses of contemporary social relevance will be offered as optional and honours courses.

2 .LL.M

  • LL.M. course is of One year duration and is divided into Three Trimester. University offers specialization in Human Rights, Intellectual Property & Business Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Business Law and Criminal Law. Allocation of LL.M.

3.Master of Cyber Law & Information Security

  • NLIU offers a post graduate degree course called Master of Cyber Law & Information Security. The Master of Cyber Law and Information Security (MCLIS) course aims to develop the skills required to address the issues related to cyber space and Information Security on technological grounds and relate these to legal problems.

Eligibility

  • Candidate has obtained a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • Candidate has obtained at-least 50% of marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in bachelor's degree examination.

Entrance Examination

  • Candidate has qualified the entrance test conducted by the NLIU for admission to MCLIS program (“Entrance Test”)

4.Non Credit Courses

  • The University also offers to its B.A.LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. students non-credit courses such as Competition Law, Comparative Jurisprudence, International Commercial Arbitration, Global Terrorism, Cyber Law, Law and Economics, Maritime Law, etc.

5.Ph.D

Ph.D course is of two years duration.

  • Admission to Ph.D. programme is through an entrance test conducted by the University. The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) invites applications in the prescribed application form for admission to Ph. D. in Law, Ph.D. (Inter-disciplinary), and Ph.D. in Cyber Law and Information Security

Eligibility

  • Ph. D. in Law: LL.M. Degree with 55% Marks or equivalent grade in the aggregate for General candidates and 50% marks in the aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layery PWD candidates.
  • Ph.D. in Cyber Law and Information Security: LL.M.MCLIS/MS or M.Sc. (TT or Cyber Security/Cyber Forensic M.Tech (CSE/TT/Cyber Security/Cyber Forensic) or equivalent Degree for Ph.D. in Cyber Law and Information Security with 55% Marks or equivalent grade in the aggregate for General candidates and 50% marks in the aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layery PWD candidates.
  • Ph.D. (Inter-disciplinary): (i) Post Graduate degree in any discipline with 55% Marks in the aggregate for General candidates and 50% marks in the aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layery PWD candidates and LLB. degree or its equivalent viz. BL/B.A.LLB/B.Com. LL. B/B.Sc. LL.B..
