Introduction
The Vidya Samunnathi Scholarship is an initiative of Kerala State Welfare Corporation for the Forward Communities Limited (KSWCFC) that provides financial assistance to the students pursuing studies from high school level to post-graduation level and belonging to the economically backward sections of the Forward communities in Kerala state. The KSWCFC facilitates educational loans at concessional rates of interest for deserving students to pursue professional, graduate, postgraduate, and technical courses. The scholarship aims at helping the financially weaker non-reservation forward community students to complete their higher education and thus improve the educational status, living conditions, and overall development of the state.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should belong to a non-reservation forward community and should be a domicile of Kerala state.
- He/ she should have a bank account in any of the recognized banks to avail of the scholarship amount.
- The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 2,00,000 per annum.
- The students who applied for financial help in the previous year are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- The candidates should choose their coaching centers to apply for the scholarship.
Scholarship rewards
High School Level
- 22000 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 2000 per annum
Higher Secondary Level
- 14000 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 3000 per annum.
Graduation Level (Non-Professional)
- 5000 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 5000 per annum.
Diploma/ Certificate Course
- 1000 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 6000 per annum.
Post Graduation Level (Non-Professional)
- 2000 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 6000 per annum.
Graduation Level (Professional)
- 3000 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 7000 per annum.
Post Graduation Level (Professional)
- 2000 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 6000 per annum.
CA/ CS/ ICWA
- 100 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 10,000 per annum.
National Institute Level
- 120 scholarships are provided each year.
- Selected candidates get a scholarship amount of INR 50,000 per annum.
Application process
The Samunnathi Scholarship Application form is accessed and submitted online through the Samunnathi Scholarship portal. The step-by-step application process is given below:
- Interested applicants should visit the KCWCFC online portal.
- He/she should click on the ‘Live Schemes’ section on the homepage and then click on the ‘Apply Online KCWCFC Scholarship’ link.
- The candidate should read the entire scheme guideline carefully and then proceed to apply for a particular (New/ Existing) scholarship application.
Application Process for New User:
- The new user should click on the ‘Databank Registration’ for the Samunnathi Scholarship Registration.
- He/ she should enter a valid email ID or Mobile number to fill out the online application form.
- The candidate should click on ‘Register’ to complete the Samunnathi Scholarship Online Registration Form.
Application Process for Existing User:
- The existing user should log in to the Samunnathi Scholarship Login portal using the registered email address and password.
- He/ she should fill in the Samunnathi Scholarship Application Form with correct and valid details.
- The candidate should then upload scanned copies of all the required documents.
- Finally, the applicant should submit the completed application form and all the supporting documents to complete the application process.
- A printout of the completed application should be taken for future reference.
