പവർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ബിടെക് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പവർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ബാച്ചിലർ ഓഫ് ടെക്നോളജി ബിരുദ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കുള്ള 4 വർഷത്തെ കോഴ്സാണ്. ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ്, ഊർജ്ജ വ്യവസായത്തിൻ്റെ  പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ആളുകളെ ബോധവാന്മാരാക്കുക എന്നതാണ് പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം.ഈ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് ബ്രാഞ്ച് ജനറേറ്ററുകൾ, മോട്ടോറുകൾ, ട്രാൻസ്ഫോർമറുകൾ തുടങ്ങി വിവിധ പവർ മെഷീനുകളുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഇലക്ട്രിക് പവർ, ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്പാദനം, പ്രക്ഷേപണം, വിതരണം എന്നിവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടതാണ്.
