Overview
മണിപ്പൂർ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മണിപ്പൂരിലെ ഇംഫാലിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു കേന്ദ്ര സർവ്വകലാശാലയാണ്. മണിപ്പൂർ സർവ്വകലാശാലാ നിയമം, 1980 പ്രകാരം, മണിപ്പൂർ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ പ്രാദേശിക അധികാരപരിധിയിലുള്ള ഒരു ടീച്ചിംഗ് കം-അഫിലിയേറ്റിംഗ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി എന്ന നിലയിലാണ് ഇത് 1980 ജൂൺ 5 ന് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിതമായത്.മണിപ്പൂരിന്റെ തലസ്ഥാന നഗരമായ ഇംഫാലിലെ കാഞ്ചിപ്പൂരിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ സർവ്വകലാശാല കാമ്പസ് ചരിത്രപ്രസിദ്ധമായ കാഞ്ചിപ്പൂരിൽ 287.53 ഏക്കർ വിസ്തൃതിയിൽ വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നു.
