M.Sc Hydrochemistry

Course Introduction:

ബിരുദാനന്തര കെമിസ്ട്രി കോഴ്സാണ് മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് സയൻസ് ഇൻ ഹൈഡ്രോകെമിസ്ട്രി. ജലസേചനം, കൃഷി, കുടിവെള്ളം, വ്യാവസായിക ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് അനുയോജ്യമായ ജലത്തിന്റെ ഗുണനിലവാരം ജല-രാസ പഠനം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.രാസ ജലശാസ്ത്രം ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയകളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടതാണ്, അതിനാൽ ലവണങ്ങൾ കരയിൽ നിന്ന് കടലിലേക്ക് കടത്തുക (പാറകളുടെ മണ്ണൊലിപ്പ്, ഉപരിതലത്തിന്റെ ഒഴുക്ക് എന്നിവ) കടലിൽ നിന്ന് കരയിലേക്ക് (ബാഷ്പീകരണം, മേഘ രൂപീകരണം, മഴ) എന്നിവ പോലുള്ള പ്രതിഭാസങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. മരുഭൂമി പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും ഹിമപാളികളിലും ഹിമാനികളിലുമുള്ള ഭൂഗർഭജലത്തിന്റെ പ്രായം, ഉത്ഭവം. കോഴ്‌സിന്റെ കാലാവധി രണ്ട് വർഷമാണ്. 

Course Eligibility:

• Aspiring students should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc. Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks with Polymer Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Petro Chemicals/Environment & Water Management as the main subject and Mathematics and Physics/Computer Science, as subsidiaries with 55% marks in the main subject.
