Course Introduction:
ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ വികസനത്തിനും പരിപാലനത്തിനുമായി വൈദ്യുതി, ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ്, വൈദ്യുതകാന്തികത എന്നിവയുടെ പഠനവും പ്രയോഗവും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന 4 വർഷത്തെ ബിരുദ പ്രോഗ്രാം ആണ് ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിലെ ബിടെക്.ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ സർക്യൂട്ട് ഡിസൈനുകളെയും പവർ സിസ്റ്റങ്ങളെയും സംബന്ധിക്കുന്ന വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ എഞ്ചിനീയർമാർ പ്രധാന പങ്ക് വഹിക്കുന്നു. വലിയ വൈദ്യുത നിലയങ്ങൾ, വ്യാവസായിക യന്ത്രങ്ങൾ, ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ മോട്ടോറുകൾ, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ ചിപ്പുകൾ,ഹാർഡ്‌വെയർ കമ്പനികൾ, വാഹനങ്ങൾ, വിമാനം, ബഹിരാകാശ പേടകങ്ങൾ,എല്ലാത്തരം എഞ്ചിനുകൾ അവയുടെ ഇഗ്നിഷൻ സംവിധാനങ്ങളുടെ നിർമ്മാണം തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി മേഖലകളിൽ അവർ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. സർക്യൂട്ടുകളും(layout) സ്കീമാറ്റിക്സും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിന് ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ എഞ്ചിനീയർമാർ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ-എയ്ഡഡ് ഡിസൈൻ (സിഎഡി) സിസ്റ്റങ്ങളെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു.
