Overview
IIT BHU 1919-ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായി, പിന്നീട് 2012-ൽ IIT BHU ആയി നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. 400 ഏക്കർ വിസ്തൃതിയിൽ വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്ന കാമ്പസ് വാരണാസിയിലാണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഗ്രാന്റ്സ് കമ്മീഷനും (യുജിസി) ഓൾ ഇന്ത്യ കൗൺസിൽ ഫോർ ടെക്നിക്കൽ എജ്യുക്കേഷനും (എഐസിടിഇ) അംഗീകാരം നൽകിയതാണ് ഈ സ്ഥാപനം. കൂടാതെ, NIRF റാങ്കിംഗ്-2020 ലെ മികച്ച എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ ഇത് 11-ാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തി.IIT BHU 14 വകുപ്പുകൾക്കും 3 ഇന്റർ ഡിസിപ്ലിനറി സ്കൂളുകൾക്കും കീഴിൽ ബിരുദ, ബിരുദാനന്തര, പിഎച്ച്ഡി പ്രോഗ്രാമുകൾ നൽകുന്നു. BTech, Bpharm, BArch, MTech, MPharm, MSc, PhD, Integrated MTech (IMD), Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) എന്നീ കോഴ്സുകളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.
