Course Introduction:
കാലാവസ്ഥാ വ്യതിയാനവും പ്രകൃതിദുരന്തങ്ങളും ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുകയോ ജീവിതനിലവാരം, അമിത ജനസംഖ്യ എന്നിവ മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള ഒരു മാറ്റം വരുത്താൻ ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ബിരുദം സജ്ജമാക്കുന്നു. ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രം ഏറ്റവും വിശദമായ വിഷയ മേഖലകളിലൊന്നായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. നിലവിലെ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ, തൊഴിൽ ശേഷിയുടെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന തലങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് ഇതിന്. പ്രശ്‌നപരിഹാരം, വിമർശനാത്മക ചിന്ത, ഡാറ്റാ പ്രോസസ്സിംഗ്, അനലിറ്റിക്കൽ പ്രോഗ്രാമിംഗ്, ടീം വർക്ക് എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടെ വിവിധ കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യാവുന്ന കഴിവുകൾ ഈ കോഴ്‌സിലൂടെ നേടാനാകും. വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് വ്യക്തമായ ശാസ്ത്രീയ പശ്ചാത്തലം, പ്രകൃതി പ്രക്രിയകളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട പ്രത്യേക വിഷയങ്ങൾ, കാലാവസ്ഥാ രീതികൾ, പരിസ്ഥിതിശാസ്ത്രം എന്നിവ നൽകുന്നതിനാണ് ഡിഗ്രി പ്രോഗ്രാം രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
Course Eligibility:
- To be eligbile for admission to the course, students need to have cleared Plus two or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in Geography. Plus two or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.
