ബിരുദാനന്തര ലെവൽ സോഷ്യോളജി കോഴ്സാണ് M.A സോഷ്യോളജി. സോഷ്യോളജിയിൽ വിപുലമായ തലത്തിൽ സമഗ്രമായ പഠനം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. സാമൂഹ്യ ബന്ധങ്ങൾ, സാമൂഹിക തരംതിരിക്കൽ, സാമൂഹിക ഇടപെടൽ, സംസ്കാരം മുതലായവയുടെ പഠനം ഇതിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. അപ്ലൈഡ് സോഷ്യോളജി, താരതമ്യ സോഷ്യോളജി, കൾച്ചറൽ സോഷ്യോളജി, കൂട്ടായ പെരുമാറ്റം, കുറ്റകൃത്യവും , കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി, ഡെമോഗ്രഫി തുടങ്ങിയ സാമൂഹ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനം കോഴ്‌സ് ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. വിശാലമായി പറഞ്ഞാൽ, കോഴ്‌സ് സമൂഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനമാണ്.
