Course Introduction:

കേൾവി, ബാലൻസ്, അനുബന്ധ തകരാറുകൾ എന്നിവ പര്യവേക്ഷണം ചെയ്യുന്ന സയൻസിലെ ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര കോഴ്‌സാണ് ഓഡിയോളജി. കേൾവിക്കുറവുള്ളവരെ ചികിത്സിക്കുകയും ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കേടുപാടുകൾ കണ്ടത്തുകയും പരിഹരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന വിദഗ്ധരാണ് ഓഡിയോളജിസ്റ്റുകൾ.  4 സെമസ്റ്ററുകളിലായി 2 വർഷം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന കോഴ്‌സാണിത്. ഓഡിയോളജി ഒരു പ്രത്യേക പഠന മേഖലയാണ്. ശ്രവണ വൈകല്യവും മറ്റ് അനുബന്ധ സെൻസറി ഡിസോർഡേഴ്സും ഉള്ള രോഗികളുമായി ആശയവിനിമയം നടത്താൻ ആവശ്യമായ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകൾ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് പ്രോഗ്രാം രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
