Overview
ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ള നിയമവിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യവും മികച്ച പരിശീലനം ലഭിച്ച നിയമബിരുദധാരികളുടെ ബാർ, ബെഞ്ച്, പ്രൊഫഷനുകൾ എന്നിവയുടെ ആവശ്യകതയും മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര സംസ്ഥാനം സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് മുംബൈ, നാഗ്പൂർ, ഔറംഗബാദ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ മൂന്ന് ദേശീയ നിയമ സർവകലാശാലകൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് വളരെ ധീരമായ തീരുമാനമെടുത്തു. കൂടാതെ, ഇവ മൂന്നും മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര നാഷണൽ ലോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ആക്റ്റ്, 2014 പ്രകാരം സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ട സ്വതന്ത്രവും സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുമാണ്. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ദേശീയ നിയമ സർവ്വകലാശാലകളുടെ പട്ടികയിൽ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയതായി ചേർത്തത് മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര നാഷണൽ ലോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി, ഔറംഗബാദ്, 2017 മാർച്ച് 16 മുതൽ ആരംഭിച്ചതാണ്. ദേശീയ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥാപനം എന്ന മറാത്ത്‌വാഡ മേഖലയിലെ ജനങ്ങളുടെ അഭിലാഷങ്ങൾ സഫലമാക്കിയാണ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയുടെ തുടക്കം. ഔറംഗബാദിൽ. 2017-18 അധ്യയന വർഷം മുതലുള്ള പ്രവേശനത്തോടെയാണ് നിയമ സർവകലാശാല ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. യോഗ്യതയുള്ള വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുടെ മെറിറ്റ് ലിസ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രവേശനം നടത്താൻ, CLAT കൺവീനറുമായി സർവകലാശാല ഒരു ധാരണാപത്രത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടു. എംഎൻഎൽയു-ഔറംഗബാദിൽ പ്രവേശനം നേടുന്ന വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് പ്രവേശനം നടത്താനും എല്ലാ സൗകര്യങ്ങളും ഒരുക്കാനും അധികാരികൾ എല്ലാ ശ്രമങ്ങളും നടത്തിവരികയാണ്. നിയമത്തെയും നിയമ പ്രക്രിയകളെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനവും അറിവും ദേശീയ വികസനത്തിൽ അവയുടെ പങ്കും മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതിനും പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിലും ഗവേഷകരിലും ഉത്തരവാദിത്തബോധം വളർത്തുക, അഭിഭാഷകവൃത്തി, നിയമസേവനങ്ങൾ, നിയമനിർമ്മാണം, നിയമപരിഷ്കാരങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയിൽ കഴിവുകൾ വികസിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിയമമേഖലയിൽ സമൂഹത്തെ സേവിക്കുക, എന്നിവയാണ് മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര നാഷണൽ ലോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയുടെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ.

B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)
- B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Degree Course Academic Curriculum of the University is inspired by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Curriculum Development Committee Report (CDCR) wherein the recommendations of the CDC report and the Bar Council of India (BCI) guidelines have been considered as the basic parameters to bring it in consonance with trends of globalization, pluralism and social integration. Clinical legal education is an integral component of the academic curriculum of the university through which students understand how to appreciate practical socio-economic and legal issues and help the needy. The course curriculum promotes inter-disciplinary approach with integration between law, social sciences and humanities.

Eligibility
- Obtained a Master's Degree (Regular Mode) in Law from any recognized University securing not less than 55% marks or its equivalent.
A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.

Eligibility
- The candidate must have obtained a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree from any recognized University or from a Foreign University of standing, in the discipline of law, having at least 10 (ten) academic years of teaching experience or exceptional academic achievements in the field of law.
