Course Introduction:
എം.എസ്സി. എൻ‌ടോമോളജി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് സയൻസ് ഇൻ എൻ‌ടോമോളജി ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര അഗ്രികൾച്ചർ സയൻസ് ആൻഡ് ടെക്നോളജി കോഴ്സാണ്. പ്രാണികളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സുവോളജിയുടെ ഒരു ശാഖയാണ് എൻ‌ടോമോളജി. കോഴ്‌സ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് പബ്ലിക് ഹെൽത്ത് എൻ‌ടോമോളജിയെക്കുറിച്ച് ആഴത്തിലുള്ള അറിവ് നേടുന്നതിനും എപ്പിഡെമിയോളജിയുടെ ആധുനിക സമീപനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും വെക്റ്ററുകളുടെയും വെക്റ്റർ-പകരുന്ന രോഗങ്ങളുടെയും നിയന്ത്രണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും തീവ്രമായ പരിശീലനം നേടുന്നതിനും അവസരമൊരുക്കും. കീടങ്ങളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള തന്ത്രങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും മാരകമായ രോഗങ്ങൾക്ക് കാരണമായേക്കാവുന്ന കീടങ്ങളെ പടരുന്നതിൽ നിന്ന് തടയുന്നതിനുള്ള മാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുമുള്ള നൂതന പഠനങ്ങളാണ് കോഴ്‌സിൽ പ്രതിപാദിക്കുന്നത്. പ്രാണികളുടെയും കാർഷിക മേഖലയുടെയും പ്രധാന വശങ്ങൾ കോഴ്‌സിൽ വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നു.
