Course Introduction:
നാവിക കപ്പലുകളുടെയും കപ്പലുകളുടെയും നിയന്ത്രണവും പ്രവർത്തനവും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന മൂന്ന് വർഷത്തെ ബിരുദ കോഴ്‌സാണ് ബി‌എസ്‌സി നോട്ടിക്കൽ സയൻസ്. ഇത് സമുദ്ര കപ്പലുകളുടെ നിയന്ത്രണം, നാവിഗേഷൻ, ചരക്ക് കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യൽ, പ്രവർത്തനം എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രധാനവും അനിവാര്യവുമായ അറിവ് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളെ സജ്ജമാക്കുന്നു. ഈ കോഴ്സിലെ ബിരുദധാരികൾക്കുള്ള തൊഴിലവസരങ്ങൾ ഇന്ത്യൻ നാവികസേനയിൽ മാത്രമായി പരിമിതപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല, മാത്രമല്ല നിരവധി സ്വകാര്യ സമുദ്ര-അധിഷ്ഠിത കയറ്റുമതി / ഗവേഷണ കമ്പനികളും നോട്ടിക്കൽ സയൻസ് ബിരുദധാരികളെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിനായി നിയമിക്കുന്നു.ഒരു കപ്പൽ ഒരു ഘട്ടത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്ക് സുരക്ഷിതമായി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നതിനും പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുമുള്ള സാങ്കേതികതകളും അറിവും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു മൾട്ടി ഡിസിപ്ലിനറി വിഷയമാണ് (ശാസ്ത്രം, ഗണിതം, ശാരീരിക പരിശീലനം എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന) നോട്ടിക്കൽ സയൻസ് ഈ രംഗത്ത് ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള ജോലിയുടെ സാങ്കേതികതകളും സങ്കീർണതകളും ഈ മേഖലയിൽ ശരിയായ അറിവും പരിചയവുമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ മാത്രമേ ഒരാൾക്ക് മികവ് പുലർത്താൻ കഴിയൂ.
Course Eligibility:
- Candidates should clear Plus Two in the Science stream with minimum 50 per cent to 60 percent aggregate from a recognised board. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology as core subject combinations.
