ഗുജറാത്ത് നാഷണൽ ലോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി (ജിഎൻഎൽയൂ) ഗവൺമെന്റ് സ്ഥാപിച്ച നിയമപരമായ സർവ്വകലാശാലയാണ്. ഗുജറാത്ത് നാഷണൽ ലോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ആക്റ്റ്, 2003 പ്രകാരം ഗുജറാത്ത് ബാർ കൗൺസിൽ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയും (ബിസിഐ) യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഗ്രാന്റ്സ് കമ്മീഷനും (യുജിസി) (2f & 12B) അംഗീകാരം നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിയമ മേഖലയിൽ സമൂഹത്തെ സേവിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്തബോധം വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിലും ഗവേഷകരിലും വളർത്തിയെടുക്കുക, അഭിഭാഷകവൃത്തി, നിയമസേവനങ്ങൾ, നിയമനിർമ്മാണം, പാർലമെന്ററി പ്രാക്ടീസ്, നിയമപരിഷ്കാരങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ കഴിവുകൾ വികസിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിയമവും നിയമപ്രക്രിയകളും സാമൂഹ്യവികസനത്തിന്റെ കാര്യക്ഷമമായ ഉപകരണങ്ങളാക്കുക എന്നിവയാണ് ഗുജറാത്ത് നാഷണൽ ലോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയുടെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ.

1.BA/BCom/BBA/BSc,BSW LL.B (Hons)

Eligibility

  • Successful clearance of HSC/lntermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST)
  • Candidate appearing in the qualifying examination can appear provisionally, subject to the production of necessary qualification papers before or at the time of admission.

2.LLM

Eligibility

  • LL.B. degree/equivalent degree in law from a recognized University, with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST students)
    Candidate appearing in the qualifying examination can appear provisionally, subject to the production of necessary qualification papers before or at the time of admission.

3.PG Diploma in Biotechnology, Law and Policy

  • Biotechnology is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and India is among the top 12 destinations. Biotechnology applies to development of products and technologies useful in a broad range of sectors like agriculture, environment, health, fuel etc. Some of the biotechnological applications are welcome and some like stem cell research, GM products are controversial. Biotechnology is the life science, which generally deals with the study of living organisms.

Eligibility

  • Completed Graduation in any field and received the degree from any recognised University.

4.PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights

  • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), in recent years, has emerged as perhaps the most important branch of Law having a multidisciplinary approach. Particularly in the recent past, the reach and importance has immensely grown, touching several types of industries and businesses. With the arrival of sophisticated technologies like AI, Internet of Things, Blockchain technology and the like, it is inevitable, now more than ever, to equip oneself with laws and policies that regulate these impactful changes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized University

5.Ph.D

Eligibility

  • The candidate shall have a Master's Degree from a recognisedUniversity with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale and 50% marks or its equivalent in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates (non-creamy layer) and Persons with Disability.
