Course Introduction:
വിവിധതരം ഡ്രഗ്സിൻ്റെ പ്രവർത്തനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിൻ്റെയും ജീവശാസ്ത്രത്തിൻ്റെയും ശാഖയാണ് ഫാർമക്കോളജി. കൂടുതൽ വ്യക്തമായി പറഞ്ഞാൽ, സാധാരണ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അസാധാരണമായ ജൈവ-രാസ പ്രവർത്തനത്തെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ജീവജാലവും രാസവസ്തുക്കളും തമ്മിലുള്ള പ്രതിപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനമാണ് ഇത്. പദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾക്ക് ഔഷധഗുണങ്ങളുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവ ഫാർമസ്യൂട്ടിക്കൽ ആയി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. കോഴ്‌സിനുള്ള സിലബസ് നാല് സെമസ്റ്ററുകളായി തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ കോഴ്സിൻ്റെ പഠന കാലാവധി എന്നത് രണ്ടു വർഷമാണ്, മാത്രമല്ല ഈ കോഴ്‌സ് വളരെ മൂല്യവത്തായതും പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതുമാണ്, ഇത് പൂർത്തിയായതിന് ശേഷം ധാരാളം കരിയർ സ്കോപ്പുകൾ തുറക്കുന്നു. രാജ്യത്തുടനീളം നിരവധി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജുകൾ അവരുടെ കാമ്പസുകളിൽ ഈ കോഴ്‌സ് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്.
Course Eligibility:
- Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following with an aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC):
- B.Pharm in Pharmacy/ Pharmacology
- B.Sc. in Biology/ Physics/ Zoology/ Genetics/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry
- Bachelor’s degree in Home Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Botany
- B.Sc. Agriculture/ B.Phs./ BDS/ MBBS/ B.Pharm
