Overview
1936-ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ ടാറ്റ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സോഷ്യൽ സയൻസസ് മുംബൈ (TISS മുംബൈ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു) ഒരു സർവ്വകലാശാലയാണ്. അന്താരാഷ്‌ട്രതലത്തിൽ, 2022ലെ QS ഏഷ്യാ റാങ്കിംഗിൽ TISS 351-400 റാങ്ക് നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. NIRF 2021 പ്രകാരം ഇത് 'യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റി'ക്ക് കീഴിൽ 37-ഉം 'മൊത്തത്തിൽ' 70-ഉം റാങ്കിലാണ്. ഇത് 65-ലധികം പിജി, ഡോക്ടറൽ, ഇന്റഗ്രേറ്റഡ്, സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ്, വൊക്കേഷണൽ, ഓൺലൈൻ എന്നിവ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. സോഷ്യൽ വർക്ക്, റൂറൽ ഡെവലപ്‌മെന്റ്, ഹെൽത്ത് സയൻസസ്, മറ്റ് സമാന മേഖലകളിലെ കോഴ്‌സുകൾ. 20 സ്‌കൂളുകൾക്കും 45 കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾക്കും കീഴിൽ ഈ എല്ലാ പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളും ഡീംഡ്-ടു-ബി സർവകലാശാല വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇത് ഓപ്പൺ ഡിസ്റ്റൻസ് ലേണിംഗ് (ODL) വഴി പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിലും ഡിജിറ്റൽ ലൈബ്രറി മാനേജ്‌മെന്റ് പ്രോഗ്രാമുകളിലും എംഎ, പിജി ഡിപ്ലോമയും വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.ടാറ്റ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സോഷ്യൽ സയൻസസ് മുംബൈയാണ് നാല് TISS കാമ്പസുകളുടെ പ്രധാന കാമ്പസ്. ഹൈദരാബാദ്, ഗുവാഹത്തി, തുൽജാപൂർ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലാണ് മറ്റ് കാമ്പസുകൾ. ഈ കോഴ്‌സുകളിലേക്കെല്ലാം പ്രവേശനത്തിനായി ഡീംഡ്-ടു-ബി സർവകലാശാല TISS-NET പരീക്ഷ നടത്തുന്നു.

Eligibility
- Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
