Course Introduction:

എം.എസ്സി ജിയോളജി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് സയൻസ് ഇൻ ജിയോളജി ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര ജിയോളജി കോഴ്സാണ്. ഭൂമിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനവും അത് രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുകയും മാറ്റുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രക്രിയകൾ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ശാസ്ത്രത്തെ ജിയോളജി ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. പ്ലേറ്റ് ടെക്റ്റോണിക്സ്, ജീവിതത്തിന്റെയും പരിണാമത്തിന്റെയും ചരിത്രം, മുൻകാല കാലാവസ്ഥ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് ജിയോളജി പ്രാഥമിക തെളിവുകൾ നൽകുന്നു. എം.എസ്സി. ജിയോളജിയിൽ കൂടുതലും രണ്ട് വർഷത്തെ അക്കാദമിക് വർഷമാണ് നാല് സെമസ്റ്റർ. എന്നാൽ ഇത് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് മുതൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് വരെ വ്യത്യാസപ്പെടുന്നു. കോഴ്‌സ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കാനുള്ള ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ സമയം രണ്ട് വർഷമാണ്. രാജ്യത്തെ നിരവധി കോളേജുകളും സർവകലാശാലകളും കോഴ്‌സ് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
