Overview
2009-ലെ കേന്ദ്ര സർവ്വകലാശാലാ നിയമം (2009-ലെ പാർലമെന്റ് നിയമം നമ്പർ 25) പ്രകാരം 2009-ൽ കാസർഗോഡ് കേരള കേന്ദ്ര സർവകലാശാല നിലവിൽ വന്നു. ദർശന പ്രസ്‌താവനയിൽ പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അക്കാദമികവും സാമൂഹികവുമായ പ്രതിബദ്ധത, ധാർമ്മിക ദൃഢത, ബൗദ്ധികവും ആത്മീയവുമായ പ്രബുദ്ധത എന്നിവയുടെ ഉന്നതമായ ആശയങ്ങളാൽ നയിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു 'കെയറിംഗ് വിസ്ഡം' എന്ന മഹത്തായ ദർശനത്തിലാണ് സർവ്വകലാശാല സ്ഥാപിതമായത്.പെരിയയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ആസ്ഥാനത്തിന് പുറമേ പത്തനംതിട്ടയിലെ തിരുവല്ലയിൽ നിയമവകുപ്പും സർവകലാശാലയ്ക്ക് തിരുവനന്തപുരം സെന്ററിൽ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ റിലേഷൻസിൽ ബിഎ പ്രോഗ്രാമും ഉണ്ട്. അറിവ്, ജ്ഞാനം, മൂല്യങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയാൽ നയിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന, മാർഗനിർദേശത്തിലൂടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തമുള്ള ഒരു സമൂഹം കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മാനുഷിക സാധ്യതകൾ പുറത്തെടുക്കാൻ സർവ്വകലാശാല ആവേശത്തോടെ പരിശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.
