Course Introduction:
പുരാതന ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ബാച്ചിലർ ഓഫ് ആർട്സ് ഒരു ബിരുദ ചരിത്ര കോഴ്സാണ്. രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ മനുഷ്യചരിത്രത്തിൻ്റെ തുടക്കം മുതൽ മധ്യവയസ് വരെ എഴുതിയ ഭൂതകാലത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനമാണ് പുരാതന ചരിത്രം. സാഹിത്യഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങൾ, പപ്പൈറി, ലിഖിതങ്ങൾ, നാണയങ്ങൾ, കല, മറ്റ് പുരാവസ്തു തെളിവുകൾ എന്നിവ പഠിക്കുകയും ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലുള്ള തൊഴിൽ മേഖലയെ പ്രൊഫഷണലായി പിന്തുടരുന്നതിന് പുറമെ, അച്ചടക്കത്തിൽ ഉയർന്ന ഗവേഷണങ്ങളിൽ ഏർപ്പെടാനുള്ള ആവശ്യമായ കഴിവുകൾ യോഗ്യതയുള്ള വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളിൽ വളർത്തിയെടുക്കുന്നതിനാണ് കോഴ്‌സ് രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. പുരാതന ലോകത്തെ അക്കാദമികമായി പുനർനിർമ്മിക്കുകയും ഡീകോഡ് ചെയ്യുകയും പാഠ്യപദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ആർക്കിയോളജിക്കൽ ഫീൽഡ് വർക്കിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാനും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ ആവശ്യമാണ്.
