എം.വി.എസ്സി. അനിമൽ ബ്രീഡിംഗ് & ജനിറ്റിക്സ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അനിമൽ ബ്രീഡിംഗ് & ജനിറ്റിക്സിൽ മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് വെറ്ററിനറി സയൻസ് ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര അനിമൽ ഹസ്ബൻഡറി കോഴ്സാണ്. ജനിതകശാസ്ത്രത്തിലെ വിവരങ്ങളുടെ വിസ്‌ഫോടനം പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന് വ്യവസായത്തിനും ഗവേഷണത്തിനും കൂടുതലായി ആവശ്യമുള്ള ജനിതകശാസ്ത്രത്തിലും അളവിലുള്ള നൈപുണ്യത്തിലും ഇത് പരിശീലനം നൽകുന്നു. അനിമൽ-സയൻസ് വ്യവസായത്തിലെ പ്രായോഗിക പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങൾക്ക് ക്വാണ്ടിറ്റേറ്റീവ് ജനിതക സിദ്ധാന്തം പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നതിനും ക്വാണ്ടിറ്റേറ്റീവ് ജനിതകശാസ്ത്രം, ജീനോം വിശകലനം, മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തൽ എന്നിവയിൽ ഗവേഷണം നടത്തുന്നതിനും ആവശ്യമായ അറിവും നൈപുണ്യവും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ നേടുന്നു. മൃഗസംരക്ഷണം, സുസ്ഥിരത, ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷ, ഭക്ഷ്യ ഗുണനിലവാരവും സുരക്ഷയും, പരിസ്ഥിതിശാസ്ത്രം, അതുപോലെ വിനോദം, കായികം, ഗൈഡ് നായ്ക്കൾ തുടങ്ങിയ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ പ്രജനനത്തെയും ജീനോമിക്സിനെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ള അറിവ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. കോഴ്സ് പൂർത്തിയായതിന് ശേഷം നിരവധി ജോലികൾ തുറക്കുന്നു.
