Course Introduction:
ബി.എ. മനുഷ്യഭാഷയുടെ യുക്തിസഹമായ അന്വേഷണം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ബിരുദ ഭാഷാ പ്രോഗ്രാമാണ് ഭാഷാശാസ്ത്രം; അതുപോലെ തന്നെ, സ്വരസൂചകം, സ്വരൂപശാസ്ത്രം, അർത്ഥശാസ്ത്രം, വ്യാകരണം, സാമൂഹ്യഭാഷാശാസ്ത്രം, പ്രായോഗികത എന്നിവയുൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള ഘടന, സ്വഭാവം, വിവിധ ഭാഷകളുടെ അന്വേഷണം എന്നിവയാണ് ഇത്.ഭാഷകളെ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പൊതുവായ ഘടകത്തെ തിരിച്ചറിയുകയും പുരാവസ്തു, മനശാസ്ത്രം, നരവംശശാസ്ത്രം, തത്ത്വചിന്ത, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്, കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ്, സോഷ്യോളജി, മറ്റെല്ലാ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും അതിന്റെ പ്രസക്തി നേടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഭാഷയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പഠനമാണ് ബിഎ ലിംഗ്വിസ്റ്റിക്സ്.ഈ കോഴ്‌സ് സംസ്കാരം, ഭാഷ, സമൂഹം എന്നിവ തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധം, ഭാഷാപരവും വിശകലനപരവുമായ കഴിവുകൾ, ഭാഷാ ഉപയോഗത്തിന്റെ വിശകലനത്തിന് വ്യത്യസ്ത വശങ്ങൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് സാമൂഹിക സന്ദർഭത്തിലേക്ക് സിദ്ധാന്തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രായോഗിക പ്രയോഗം എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള മൂല്യവത്തായ ഉൾക്കാഴ്ചയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനം മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
