Course Introduction:

മനുഷ്യ ഹൃദയവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് വിശദമായി പഠിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ശാഖയാണ് കാര്‍ഡിയോളജി .പി എച്ച് ഡി ഇന്‍ കാര്‍ഡിയോളജി ചെയ്യുന്നതിലൂടെ ഒരു വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിക്ക് മനുഷ്യ ഹൃദയസംബന്ധമായ കാര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് വിശദമായ അറിവ് ലഭിക്കുന്നു.പി.ജി പഠനത്തിന് ശേഷമാണ് പി എച്ച് ഡി ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിക്കുക ഈ വിഷയത്തിൽ വ്യക്തിഗതവും പ്രായോഗികവുമായ അവലോകനം നേടുന്നതിന് ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികളെ പ്രാപ്തരാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് പാഠ്യപദ്ധതി ക്രമീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതിനാൽ, പിഎച്ച്.ഡി. ഹൃദയസംബന്ധമായ ഹൃദ്രോഗം, കൊറോണറി ഹൃദ്രോഗം, വാൽവുലാർ ഹൃദ്രോഗം, ഹൃദയസ്തംഭനം, ഇലക്ട്രോഫിസിയോളജി തുടങ്ങിയവയുടെ ചികിത്സയുടെ വിഷയങ്ങളാണ് കാർഡിയോളജി കോഴ്‌സ് പാറ്റേൺ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നത്. ഇത് പരിശീലനത്തിൽ ഫീൽഡ് സന്ദർശനം, ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പ്, ക്ലാസ് റൂം പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങൾ, പ്രോജക്ടുകൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു കൂടാതെ, സെമിനാറുകളിലൂടെ അവരുടെ സംശയങ്ങൾ ദൂരീകരിക്കുക എന്ന കാഴ്ചപ്പാടോടെ ഈ മേഖലയിലെ പ്രമുഖ വിദഗ്ധരുമായി സംവദിക്കാനുള്ള വേദിയും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് നൽകുന്നു.

Course Eligibility:  

  • Candidates should have passed their Master’s degree or postgraduate program in either DM or MD in Cardiology with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks and above from a recognized university of college.
  • Those who have qualified their PG degree in Nursing or hold a Master’s degree in biomedical sciences with 55% marks and above passed from a recognized university are also eligible for admission.
  • They should have completed the compulsory rotating internship or should hold work experience for a minimum of 5 years as professionals in the field holding a senior position
  • Candidates are supposed to pass the State and National Level examination conducted for the program by reputed universities and colleges. This will be followed by GD/PI.
  • The list of entrance examination conducted for admission to Ph.D. in Cardiology programs are as follows:
    AICTE-Ph.D. – All India Council for Technical Education Ph.D.
    NET – National Eligibility Test
    DET – Doctorate Entrance Test
    PET – Ph.D. Entrance Test
