Course Introduction:

B.Sc Food Technology എന്നത് ഒരു മുന്ന് വർഷ ഡിഗ്രി കോഴ്‌സാണ്. ഈ ഡിഗ്രി പ്രോഗ്രാമിൽ ഭക്ഷ്യ സംരക്ഷണം, സംസ്കരണം, നിർമ്മാണം എന്നിവയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയകളുടെയും പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെയും സമഗ്രമായ പഠനമാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്. കെമിസ്ട്രി, ബയോളജി, ന്യൂട്രീഷൻ, ബയോകെമിസ്ട്രി, മൈക്രോബയോളജി, കെമിക്കൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങൾ ഈ കോഴ്സിന്റെ സിലബസ്സിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ കോഴ്സ് ഫുഡ് ടെക്‌നോളജിസ്റ്റുകളെ തങ്ങളുടെ മേഖലകൾക്കനുസരിച് ഭക്ഷണപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ സംസ്ക്കരിക്കുന്നതിനും, പായ്ക്ക്ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും, സുരക്ഷിതമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കാനും സഹായിക്കുന്ന പുതിയ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകൾ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിനും ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
