Overview
നാഷണൽ ലോ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ആൻഡ് ജുഡീഷ്യൽ അക്കാദമി, അസം (എൻഎൽയുജെഎഎ) അസം ഗവൺമെന്റ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത് നാഷണൽ ലോ സ്കൂൾ, ജുഡീഷ്യൽ അക്കാദമി, അസം ആക്റ്റ്, 2009 (2009 ലെ അസം നിയമം നമ്പർ XXV) വഴിയാണ്. നാഷണൽ ലോ സ്കൂൾ ആൻഡ് ജുഡീഷ്യൽ അക്കാദമി, അസം (ഭേദഗതി) നിയമം, 2011 ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് 'സ്കൂൾ' എന്ന വാക്കിന് പകരം 'യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി' എന്ന വാക്ക് നൽകി. ഗുവാഹത്തി ഹൈക്കോടതിയിലെ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസാണ് സർവകലാശാലയുടെ ചാൻസലർ. NLUJAA വിവിധ സാമൂഹിക-സാമ്പത്തിക, വംശീയ, മത, സാംസ്കാരിക പശ്ചാത്തലങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വടക്കുകിഴക്കൻ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കും പണ്ഡിതന്മാർക്കും ആധുനിക നിയമ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും ഗവേഷണ സൗകര്യങ്ങളും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും ലഭ്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Programmes Offered
1.B.A.,LL.B. (Hons.)
The University offers the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course where under Social Sciences subjects like Economics, History, Political Science and Sociology and an English language subject are integrated with the Law subjects in the first two years of study. However, from the third year, the Course Curriculum primarily comprises of Law subjects. All subjects are compulsory in the first three years of study. However, in the fourth and fifth years, the students are offered optional subjects in the form of five different streams, namely, Business and Intellectual Property Law; Constitutional Law and Administrative Law; Consumer Protection and Environmental Law; Criminal Law and Criminology; and International Law and Human Rights.
Entrance Examination
- NLUJAA shall strictly follow the admission criteria laid down by the CLAT. Accordingly, the admission shall exclusively be based on the performance of the candidate in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
