Overview
പഞ്ചാബ് സെൻട്രൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി,മറ്റ് പുതിയ കേന്ദ്ര സർവ്വകലാശാലകൾക്കൊപ്പം 2009-ൽ പാർലമെന്റിന്റെ നിയമപ്രകാരം സ്ഥാപിതമായതാണ്.സർവ്വകലാശാലയ്ക്ക് NAAC-ന്റെ ആദ്യ അക്രഡിറ്റേഷൻ സൈക്കിളിൽ 2016-ൽ 'A' ഗ്രേഡ് അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചു, കൂടാതെ NIRF-ൻ്റെ റാങ്കിങ്ങിൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി വിഭാഗത്തിൽ 2019, 2020, 2021 വർഷങ്ങളിൽ യഥാക്രമം 95, 87, 84 റാങ്കുകൾ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന പ്രതിശീർഷ ഗവേഷണ ഫണ്ടിംഗ് എന്ന ബഹുമതിയാണ് ഇത്.അധ്യാപനത്തിലും പഠനത്തിലും ഗവേഷണത്തിലും നൂതനത്വം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക, പുതിയ ആശയങ്ങൾ, പുതിയ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യകൾ, പുതിയ ലോകവീക്ഷണങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവയെ ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നിവയാണ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയുടെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങൾ.
