Course Introduction:
എം.എസ്സി. എർത്ത് സയൻസ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മാസ്റ്റർ ഓഫ് സയൻസ് ഇൻ എർത്ത് സയൻസ് ഒരു ബിരുദാനന്തര പരിസ്ഥിതി സയൻസ് കോഴ്സാണ്. എർത്ത് സയൻസ് രണ്ട് സ്ട്രീമുകൾ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഒന്ന് അന്തരീക്ഷ ശാസ്ത്രത്തിലും മറ്റൊന്ന് ജിയോളജിയിലും. ഭൂമി, അന്തരീക്ഷം, സമുദ്രങ്ങൾ, അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ള പ്രതിപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സംയോജിത പഠനമാണ് എർത്ത് സയൻസ്. ജിയോകെമിസ്ട്രി, ജിയോഫിസിക്സ്, റിമോട്ട് സെൻസിംഗ്, ജിഐഎസ്, ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ സയൻസസ് എന്നിവയുടെ പഠനങ്ങളും ആധുനിക ഉപകരണങ്ങളും സാങ്കേതികതകളും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഭൂമി വിഭവങ്ങളും മാനേജ്മെന്റ് പഠനങ്ങളും ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ളതാണ് ഈ കോഴ്സ് . കോഴ്സ് രണ്ട് വർഷത്തെ കാലാവധിയും സിലബസ് നാല് സെമസ്റ്റർ ആയും തിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ കോഴ്സ് വിവിധ മേഖലകളിലെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്കായി നിരവധി കരിയർ സ്കോപ്പുകൾ തുറക്കുന്നു.
