മോത്തിലാൽ നെഹ്‌റു നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്‌നോളജി അലഹബാദ്, പ്രയാഗ്‌രാജ് (എംഎൻഎൻഐറ്റി) അക്കാദമിക് പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ ഗുണനിലവാരത്തിലും മികവിലും പൂർണ പ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥാപനമാണ്. ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെയും ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് സർക്കാരിന്റെയും സംയുക്ത സംരംഭമായി 1961-ൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പതിനേഴു റീജിയണൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജുകളിലൊന്നായി ഇത് സ്ഥാപിതമായി, കൂടാതെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ ഏറ്റവും പഴയ സർവകലാശാലയായ അലഹബാദ് സർവകലാശാലയുടെ അനുബന്ധ കോളേജായിരുന്നു ഇത്. രണ്ട് വർഷത്തെ (2000-2002) ഹ്രസ്വകാലത്തേക്ക്, ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് യു.പി. സാങ്കേതിക സർവകലാശാല. 45 വർഷത്തെ അനുഭവസമ്പത്തും സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ രംഗത്തെ നേട്ടങ്ങളുമുള്ള, ബഹുദൂരം സഞ്ചരിച്ച്, 2002 ജൂൺ 26-ന് എംഎൻആർഇ നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്‌നോളജി ആയും ഡീംഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയായി രൂപാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു. നാഷണൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് ടെക്നോളജി ആക്ട്-2007 (29 മുതൽ 2007 വരെ) നിലവിൽ വന്നതോടെ, ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂട്ടിന് ദേശീയ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ പദവി ലഭിച്ചു.

Ph.D Programmes Offered

1.Ph.D. in Engineering

Eligibility

  • The applicant with a Master degree in relevant branch of Engineering/Technology with marks not below 60% or CPI 6.5

OR

  • Applicant with a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Masters Degree in Science/Applied biological sciences/Computer Application or any appropriate discipline with a minimum of 75% marks or CPI 8.0 shall only be considered.

2.Ph.D. in Management

Eligibility

  • Applicant with a Master’s Degree in Management/Technology/ Engineering/ Economics/ Commerce / Science / Computer Applications/Social Science with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CPI 6.5.

OR

  • Applicants with a Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minimum of 75% marks or CPI 8.0 shall be considered.

OR

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant having minimum three years of professional experience as practicing Chartered
  • Accountant with a minimum of 60% marks at both graduation level, as well as CA examination.

3.Ph.D. in Geographic Information System (GIS) Cell

Eligibility

  • Applicant with a M.Tech. or equivalent degree in GIS & Remote Sensing/Civil Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/ Electronics/Information Technology/Agriculture Engineering/Mining Engineering with minimum marks 60% or CPI 6.5.

OR

  • Applicant with a M.Sc. or equivalent degree in GIS & Remote Sensing/Applied Geology/ Geophysics/Geography/ Environmental Science/Computer Science or degree in Master of Computer Application with minimum marks 75% or CPI 8.0.

OR

  • Applicant with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 75% marks or CPI 8.0
